Some journeys you plan for years. This one begins in Buenos Aires, a city of tango in the streets, crowded markets and grand architecture that owes as much to the Old World as the New. You arrive on 3 March 2027, with a group transfer from Ezeiza to the Alvear Palace Hotel for your first night, and a hospitality room if you land early.

The next morning a private air charter carries you south to Ushuaia, the southernmost city on Earth, its painted houses set against snow-capped peaks along the Beagle Channel. You transfer straight to Seabourn Pursuit, and the ship slips away that evening.

Two days at sea follow, a chance to settle in, watch the horizon and let the expedition team prepare you for what lies ahead. Then come five full days of the Seabourn Antarctic Experience, from 7 to 11 March. Depending on ice and weather, days may bring Zodiac cruises, nature walks and cultural experiences, with kayaking and photography sessions with the Image Masters available as optional extras. Do expect icy, cold conditions, and note that guests using a wheelchair cannot join the Zodiacs.

Two more days at sea carry you back north, before you disembark in Ushuaia on the morning of 14 March and take the charter flight back to Buenos Aires, arriving that evening.

Aboard, almost everything is taken care of. Every suite faces the ocean, and the Veranda Suites have a private veranda and a walk-in closet for expedition gear. Premium spirits and fine wines are poured throughout, every dining venue is complimentary, Wi-Fi comes as standard and tipping is neither required nor expected. I can help you arrange international flights to and from Buenos Aires around the voyage.
