Cookies Policy

Last updated 24 October 2026

The short version: our website does not use cookies for analytics, advertising or tracking, and we don’t follow you around the internet. We count visits to our pages without cookies (see Counting visits), and you can switch that off. We store only what is needed for the site to work and for features you choose to use, which is why you won’t see a cookie banner.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s “local storage”, work in much the same way. Some are essential for a site to work; others track what you do, often for advertising. UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) allows essential ones without asking, but requires your consent for anything else.

Cloudflare Turnstile
security check, no cookies
When you send an enquiry or sign up for emails, Cloudflare checks it’s a person and not an automated program, using information your browser shares (such as its type and how the page was used). It doesn’t set cookies or track you across other websites, and usually you won’t see it at all.Only while the check runsStrictly necessary: security

We don’t use Google Analytics or any other outside analytics service, social media tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.

Counting visits

To see which pages help people plan their trips, and which buttons they use to get in touch, our website counts visits in a privacy-friendly way. It uses no cookies and stores nothing on your device. When a page opens, or you press a button such as “Enquire”, “Call”, “WhatsApp” or “Add to my enquiry”, your browser tells our website:

  • which page it was, and which button you pressed;
  • the website you came from, if any (for example, a search engine or Instagram);
  • whether the enquiry form was started and how far through it you got, but never anything you typed into it.

Our website adds your country and the type of device (phone, tablet or computer). It also makes a code from your IP address and your browser’s details, which changes every day. The code groups what one browser does on the same day, including sending an enquiry or booking a call, so we can see how a visit went from start to finish. The code can’t be turned back into your IP address, and the IP address itself isn’t kept. The counts are held by Cloudflare, our hosting provider, for three months, and are never linked to your name, email or the details of your enquiry. We don’t share them with anyone else.

We don’t count visits from browsers that send a “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal. You can also switch counting off on this browser:

If you send an enquiry, book a discovery call or sign up for emails, we still count that it happened (but not who it was), as we receive those anyway.

Other websites we link to or use

  • Booking a discovery call. The “Book a discovery call” button opens Google’s appointment booking page in a new tab. That page is run by Google and may use Google’s own cookies, as explained in Google’s cookie policy.
  • Other links. Links to other websites, such as the Civil Aviation Authority or Your Travel Consultant, take you to sites with their own cookie policies.

Managing cookies

You can view, block or delete cookies and stored data in your browser’s settings, usually under “Privacy” or “Cookies and site data”. Clearing data for plumeandfrost.co.uk will also empty “My enquiry”. Blocking all cookies may stop some websites working properly.

If anything changes

If we ever want to use cookies that aren’t strictly necessary, such as for advertising, we will ask for your permission first and update this policy. For how we look after your personal information more generally, please see our Privacy Notice. Questions are always welcome: neil@plumeandfrost.co.uk.
